Indian benchmark indices continued to trade in the red on Monday afternoon, though they recovered from their day’s lows.
At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77823.02 down by -186.23 points or by -0.24 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24326.75 down by -39.25 points or by -0.16 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77928.68 and intraday low of 77453.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24359.6 and intraday low of 24226.95
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1234.20,+1.38%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 185.90,+1.36%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 320.25,+0.71%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1316.10,+0.62%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 394.90,+0.48%), among others.
