Copper prices declined by Rs 3.25 to Rs 847.90 per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery fell 0.38% to Rs 847.90 per kg, with a turnover of 6,878 lots.

Analysts said the price dip was driven by weak demand, leading participants to reduce their exposure.
