Gold prices fell by Rs 528 to Rs 96,462 per 10 grams in futures trade on Monday, weighed down by subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery slipped Rs 528, or 0.54 per cent, to Rs 96,462 per 10 grams, with a business volume of 12,305 lots.
