Silver prices rose Rs 116 to Rs 1,14,913 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday as traders increased their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September delivery contracts were up Rs 116, or 0.10%, at Rs 1,14,913 per kg, with a turnover of 14,754 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptick to fresh buying by market participants.
