Guar seed futures traded lower on Monday, pressured by ample supplies in the market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery slipped by Rs 11, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 5,741 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,230 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in prices to increasing arrivals and steady supplies from key growing regions, which weighed on sentiment.
