Cottonseed oil cake futures traded lower on Friday, with prices falling Rs 18 to Rs 3,574 per quintal as traders trimmed positions amid subdued trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), cottonseed oil cake contracts for June delivery declined 0.50 per cent, or Rs 18, to trade at Rs 3,574 per quintal with an open interest of 56,510 lots.
Market analysts said weak demand conditions and selling pressure at prevailing levels continued to weigh on cottonseed oil cake prices.
