Coriander futures declined by Rs 80 to Rs 16,200 per quintal on Monday, weighed down by subdued demand in the spot market and profit-booking by traders.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery fell Rs 80, or 0.49%, to Rs 16,200 per quintal. Open interest in the contract stood at 15,555 lots.
Market analysts attributed the decline to weak spot demand and position trimming by speculators, which put pressure on coriander futures.
