At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 79705.99 up by 819.77 points or by 1.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24349.8 up by 232.8 points or by 0.97 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 79984.24 and intraday low of 79549.09 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24419.75 and intraday low of 24311.2
