Prior to that he was associated with with IL&FS Investsmart Commodities Ltd and National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) . He is an MS (Quant Economics - ISI) and is a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India and also Composite -Broker Qualified Person.

He is B.Sc (Statistics) Graduate & Associate of Insurance Institute of India, profiles spanning techno marketing & technical and underwriting functions in senior positions.He is currently acting as a Director of the Way2Wealth Insurance Brokers Private Limited. . He was a Principal Officer for Total Insurance Brokers Private Limited.

Mr. Amit Sankar Gupta is a Chartered Accountant having over 30 years of professional experience out of which last 20 years he has been associated with the Shriram Group.
He is currently the Head of Operations, Compliance and Strategy Initiatives of Shriram Credit Company Limited a non-deposit taking NBFC which is the holding company of the security broking, asset management, wealth management & financial distribution businesses of the group.

He has worked in various leadership roles and is a Techno Marketing expert. He holds an MSc in Statistics and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India as also a Leadership Development Expert (IIM-A) and a TIFF Certified Coach.
