    The Company was incorporated on 25th August, 1994 in the name and style of Gopal Rolling Mills Pvt Ltd vide certificate of incorporation No 04-22876. The Company has since been converted into a public limited company with a change of name to Gopal Rolling Mills Ltd vide a special resolution dated 21st March, 1995 and a fresh certificate of incorporation obtained on 29th March, 1995. Subsequently the name of the Company has been further changed to Gopal Iron and Steels Company (Gujarat) Ltd vide a special resolution dated 21st March, 1995 and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated 5th April, 1995 has been obtained. The Company proposes to set up facilities for manufacturing various Rerolling items like M.S. Beams, Channels, Rounds & Angles with an installed capacity of 30,000 MTPA. The Company has already started some trading activities in these products.
