    1985 - Ennore Coke & Power Ltd. was incorporated on 25th February as a part of Shriram Group as 61% of ECL was held by the promoters Shriram EPC Ltd and Shriram Auto Finance, to carry out business of yarn, cloth, fiber and the business of leasing of moveable and immoveable properties. 2005 - From 5th December, 2005 the controlling interest of the company was taken over by Shriram EPC Ltd. and Mrs. Vatsala Ranganathan. -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted To Belapur, Mumbai. 2006 -Company has changed its name from Khatoo Synthetics Ltd. to Ennore Coke Ltd. -Ennore Coke Ltd Issues Rights in the Ratio of 30:1 2007 - Mr. M R Rajagopal and Mrs. Vatsala Ranganathan had appointed as the directors of the company on 30th August 2007. 2008 - On 31st January 2008, company had decided to shift the registered office of the company from the Maharashtra to the Tamilnadu. - On the same date company had decided to issue corporate guarantees and introduce an Employee Stock Option Scheme 2008. - Company had received the clearance from pollution control department for its Met Coke plant. 2009 --Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from Office No. 11/3, Dhannammal Street, Chetpet - 600 031. to 3rd Floor, The Egmore Benefit Society Building, No. 25, Flowers Road, Chennai - 600 084. 2013 -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from 5, Flowers Road, 3rd Floor, Egmore Benefit Society Building, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600084. to Sigappi Achi Building, 1st Floor, 18/3 Rukmini Lakshmipathi Road, Egmore, Chennai - 600008. -Mr. K. U. Sivadas has been appointed as a Additional Director of the company.
