The Company was incorporated as 'Rustom Spinners Limited' on March 31st,1979 under the Companies Act, 1956.The name of the Company was changed to 'Jayatma Spinners Limited' on October 18, 1995. To carry on the business of bleaching, dyeing, finishing, mercerizing, shrinking, printing, screen printing, processing, manufacturing, and selling yam, cloth and other fabrics made from cotton, silk, art silk, jute, wool, nylon synthetic, man -made fiber and other suitable materials and generally to carry on the business of the processers of cloth and of cotton and other fiber, ginners, pressers and balers and spinning and weaving mill proprietors in all their branches printers, processors and to manufacturers and prepare cloth garment and apparels collars bed sheets pillow covers curtains and handkerchiefs towels gloves socks, table clothes mosquito nets hosiery articles and any other articles and readymade clothes from cloth and to purchase sell import export and otherwise deal therein and all other kinds of articles and to establish and run departmental stores and other type of shops for the sale of all kinds of articles.
2015 -The equity shares of Jayatma Spinners Ltd (Scrip Code: 539005) are listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of 'DT' Group Securities.
2018 -Company name has changed to Jayatma Enterprises Ltd. from Jayatma Spinners Ltd.
2020 -The Scheme of Amalgamation of M/s Jayatma Enterprises Limited with M/s Jayatma Technologies Private Limited
