It is engaged in the business of money changing activity (dealing in foreign currencies/travel cheqs), underwriting, merchant banking, lease operations and share trading etc., The company is a Category I Merchant Banker, full fledged money banker and portfolio managers. 2002 - JIK Industries Limited has informed the Exchange that the company has signed agreement with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) dealers to offer Money Transfer Services. The Economic Times dated September 18, 2002 has published news under heading 'Select HPCL outlets to offer Western Union Services'. "Western Union, a global leader in money transfer services, will offer the money transfer services to select Club HP outlets in Mumbai. Western Union's agent, JIK Industries, has signed agreements with HPCL dealers to introduce this service in the outlets". 2004 -JIK Industries Limited has informed that at its meeting held on January 31, 2004 the BOD have accepted the resignation of the Statutory Auditors of the company and decided to convene the EGM of the company. 2005 -JIK Industries sign MoU with Lindshammar Glasbruk AB, Sweden 2007 -JIK Industries enters into agreement with Secured Creditors -Company has Consolidates its Face value of Shares from Rs 1 to Rs 10 2009 -The Company is going to open its Crystal and Glassware Retail outlet in South Mumbai.
