    History of Company

    The company history sections lists out major chronological events that happened to the company.
    The Company was incorporated on 11th October, 1989, with the main object of setting up a 100% Export Oriented Unit at Falta Export Processing Zone for manufacture of Costume, Gold and Silver jewellery. The Company obtained Certificate of commencement of business on 16th February, 1990. The Company has already implemented phase I of the project as mentioned above and the Commercial production has commenced from 21st October, 1991. The first consignment aggregating US $ 31450 has already been exported to USA during March, 1992.

    The Company has been promoted by Shir D.C. Surana, Shri N K Surana and their associates. The promoters have wide experience in executing and running industries and have successfully promoted M/s. Kalpana Mercantiles Limited, Kalpana Plastics and Kalpana Promoters Pvt.Ltd.

    2007

    -Sarla Gems Ltd has appointed Mr. Kashinath Agarwal and Mr. Mohan Kumar as Directors of the Company with effect from February 17, 2007.

    2009

    - Sarla Gems Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 08, 2009, has appointed Mr. Jitendra Tiwari as an additional director of the Company with effect from June 08, 2009 under section 260 of the Companies Act, 1956.
