    History of Company

    The Company was incorporated as Laffans Petrochemicals Private Limited on 12th November, 1991 in the state of Maharashtra and was converted into a public limited company vide special resolution on 3rd February, 1992. The certificate of incorporation was amended accordingly by the Registrar of Companies on 2nd March, 1992. The Company has shifted its Registered Office from State of Maharashtra to the State of Gujarat, pursuant to Company Law Board (W.R) order passed on 11-05-92. The Company is promoted by Laffans (India) Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Prem Seth and Mr. Sandeep Seth. The Company is presently engaged in the manufacture of Glycol Ethers, Ethoxylates under Phase I at GIDC, Panoli, Taluka Ankleshwar, Dist Bharuch. The installed capacties are as follows : Glycol Ethers 2438 MTPA Ethoxylates 400 MTPA The Company also proposes to set up a project to manufacture under Phase II, Ethanolamines, Speciality Amines and Glycol Ether Acetates with an installed capacity of 1100 MTPA, 600 MTPA and 275 MTPA respectively at GIDC, Panoli, District Bharuch with a total installed capacity of 1975 MTPA. 2002-Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd has informed BSE that Mr Jaideep Seth has resigned as Director of the Company w e f July 29, 2002. 2005 -Accords to voluntarily delist securities of Company from The Delhi Stock Exchange Association Ltd 2008 - Laffans Petrochemicals - E-mail ID for Investors Complaints is lplaccounts@vsnl.net 2009 -Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd collaborates and formally signs up with Global major Huntsman Chemicals. 2011 -Laffans Petrochemicals- "Huntsman Acquires Chemicals Business of Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd."
