Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd was incorporated on 7th Sept 1992, promoted by Mideast (India) Ltd and China Metallurgical Import & Export Corporation , Beijing, China. During the period since incorporation thre company was involved in implementing Phase I of the integrated steel plant project. Phase I envisages setting up facilities for manufacture of pig iron with an installed capacity of 464,000 tpa. MIL is the flagship company of the MESCO group of industries and was promoted by Shri.J.K.Singh and Smt.Rita Singh who have over a decade of successful experience in industry and international business. MIL started manufacture of leather garments at NOIDA, UP in 1983. It is presently having 5 units around Delhi and one at Madras, engaged in the manufacture of leather garments, footwears and other leather products entirely for export. It has won several awards for its outstanding export performance. It has recently expanded its shoe manufacturing capacity (including shoe components) from 1.50 lakh pairs per annum to 12 lakh pairs per annum.
