Subsequently, by fresh certificate of incorporation dated 3rd January, 1996 name was changed to "Ramchandra Leasing and Finance Limited".The Company was converted to public company on 3rd January, 1996.The Corporated Identification Number of the Company is L65910GJ1993PLC018912.
The Company is a Non-Banking Financial Company(NBFC).The Company obtained its Certificate of Registration from RBI to carry on the business of non-banking financial institution on 12th March, 1998.The Registration no. of the Company with RBI is 01.00109.At present the Company is carrying on NBFC'S activities.The main business of the company is to make both long term and short term investment in quoted as well as unquoted shares.The company also gives short term and long term loan to the potential and sound borrowers,The Company came out with the Public issue of 2420000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- Each at par in Vadodara Stock Exchange and Ahmedabad Stock Exchange in the same year.To facilitate the illiquidity problem the company take major action to split their shares in the year 2005.At present Company is having a paid up capital of Rs. 5,11,62,000/- divided into 511,62,000 shares of Rs 1/- each.
