    Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited ('Company') was incorporated on March 12, 2011 under the Companies Act, 1956 ('Companies Act') under the name `Smartgrid Automation Distribution and Switchgear Limited'. Subsequently, the name of the Company was changed to its current name, i.e. `Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited' on December 8, 2011 and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent to change of name was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, Dadar and Nagar Haveli. The registered office of the Company is located at Milestone 87, Vadodara, Halol Highway, Village Kotambi, Post Office Jarod, Vadodara-391510, Gujarat, India. 2012 - Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited gained over 15 per cent to a new high in the early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange. 2013 -Mr. Javed Ahmad has been appointed as Additional Director on the Board of the Company. Also, Mr. Anurag Mantri was appointed as Chief Finance Officer of the Company. 2015 -Schneider Electric successfully showcased its unique & diverse range of smart energy solutions 2018 Company has said that, Temasek may announce a deal to buy L&T's electric & automation business", 2022 -Schneider Electric approved, enhancing the production capacity of Vacuum Interrupters & Vacuum Circuit Breakers by setting up a manufacturing unit in Kolkata.
