The Company was incorporated as Surana Ventures Limited on November 8, 2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 under CIN No. U45200AP2006PLC051566 and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on 13th November 2006.
2011 -Surana Ventures Ltd gets its shares listed in the stock exchnage in the list of 'T' Group Securities. -Surana Ventures recommendation of dividend @ 10%
2012 -Surana Ventures has formed a Wholly Owned Subsidiary called Surana Solar Systems Pvt Ltd for undertaking solar power projects.
2013 -Shri Badrish H. Chimalgi, an Associate member of ICSl has been appointed as Company Secretary of the Company with effect from June 03, 2013 -The Company has Recommendation of dividend @ 10% (Rs. 1.00 per Equity Share) for the year 2012-13
2014 -The Company name has changed from Surana Ventures Limited to Surana Solar Limited w.e.f. October 20, 2014 -The Comapny has approved the appointment of Shri M. V. Sharath Babu as Additional Director on the Board of the Company w.e.f January 9, 2014. -The name of Surana Ventures Ltd. shall be changed to Surana Solar Ltd. and the trading symbol of the Company be changed from SURANAVEL to SURANASOL w.e.f. November 19, 2014. -Surana Solar has splits its face value from Rs 10/- to 5/- -The Company has changed its name from Surana Ventures Ltd. to Surana Solar Ltd.
2016 -"Letter of Award for EPC and O&M contract of 10MW (AC) Solar Power Plant at Paradip Port, Odisha". Order received for supply of Solar Modules for 5 MW Solar Power Plant.
2021 -The Acquisition of Surana Infotech Private Limited -The Company wins "Intimation of Award by Arbitral Tribunal".
