The Company was incorporated as Private Limited Company under the name "Unihealth Consultancy Private Limited", under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai on February 26, 2010. The status of the Company was changed to public limited, and the name of the Company was changed to "Unihealth Consultancy Limited" vide Special Resolution dated December 19, 2022 and resolution of the Board dated December 05, 2022. The fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent to conversion was issued on April 26, 2023 by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. 2011 - Establishes the International Patient Division in Pune. - Unihealth Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Beauty clinic is commissioned at Aamby Valley City.
2012 - Marks its foray into Healthcare Consultancy Services with its 1st project being Equipment Planning & Procurement Services.
2013 - Ethiopian Airlines Enterprises has entered into an exclusive collaboration with UniHealth to provide medical travel facilitation services as its partner
2014 - Registers its 100% wholly owned subsidiary in UAE to provide consultancy services. - The Company makes its entry into Mozambique.
2015 - Earmarks investments through acquisition of Biohealth Limited to set up radiology and dialysis centers in Tanzania.
2017 - Commissions UMC Victoria Hospital in Kampala by taking over the assets of the erstwhile Kadic Hospital & UMC Zhahir Hospital in Kano (Nigeria).
2018 - Commissions it is state-of-art 70 bed facility in Kampala (Uganda), opposite the existing UMC Victoria Hospital.
2019 - UniHealth Group was appointed as Project Management Consultants for PHRC Lifespace Organisation in Pune, India
2020 -UMC Victoria Hospital sets up the largest private sector COVID-19 Treatment Center in Uganda. -The Group marks its foray into distribution of Medical Consumables & Pharmaceuticals in select African countries.
2022 -Resolution passed to convert the Company into a Public Limited Company and change its name from 'Unihealth Consultancy Private Limited' to 'Unihealth Consultancy Limited.
2023 -UniHealth signs a MoU with Maykhalar Group of Companies to set up a 300 bedded Health City in Yangon, Myanmar. -'UniHealth - UMC Hospitals' awarded 'Iconic Brand of the Year 2023'. 2024 -Company name has changed to Unihealth Hospitals Ltd. from Unihealth Consultancy Ltd..
