| Acrysil India Ltd. was incorporated in the year 1987, the company is promoted by Mr. Parekh and Mr. M.F. Tamboli in collaboration with Shock & Co.Gmbh, Germany to manufacture Kitchen Sinks from acrylic/quarts composite quarts kitchen centres in India and it is marketed under the brand "Carysil". Company also produces Thermoplastic profiles for the Automobile industry. Company also has a joint venture with DU pont a American company for manufacture of Corian products. In 1992 implemented a low cost diversification project at it's existing plant at Kavetej village in Gujarat to manufacture Thermoplastic co-extruded profile, a 100% import substitute project. The company also produces decorative lighting shades, photo frames plastic doors and furniture edge profile, etc.
The company is also in the export market with it's Sinker being exported to France, the Gulf and South East Asian countries. As of now it is the Sole Supplier of co-extruded profiles to Maruti Udyog and plan to cover other automobile manufacture company come out with right issue in May 1992.
2002-Acrysil Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 28, 2002 appointed Mr Chirag A Parekh as an Executive Director of the company with effect from November 2, 2002.
