The company history sections lists out major chronological events that happened to the company.
| The Company was incorporated on 25th August, 1994 in the
name and style of Gopal Rolling Mills Pvt Ltd vide
certificate of incorporation No 04-22876. The Company has
since been converted into a public limited company with a
change of name to Gopal Rolling Mills Ltd vide a special
resolution dated 21st March, 1995 and a fresh certificate
of incorporation obtained on 29th March, 1995. Subsequently
the name of the Company has been further changed to Gopal
Iron and Steels Company (Gujarat) Ltd vide a special
resolution dated 21st March, 1995 and a fresh certificate
of incorporation dated 5th April, 1995 has been obtained.
The Company proposes to set up facilities for manufacturing
various Rerolling items like M.S. Beams, Channels, Rounds
& Angles with an installed capacity of 30,000 MTPA.
The Company has already started some trading activities in
these products. However, the Company shall discontinue its
trading activities once it starts manufacturing the
same.
