| YEAR EVENTS
1990 - The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 8th
August, and obtained Certificate of Commencement of Business on
5th September.
- The Company has obtained Registration from Deptt. of Industrial
Development, Ministry of Industry, Secretariant for Industrial
Approvals, Govt. of India for manufacturing polyster/nylon
monofilaments with annual capacity of 500 tonnes of NOIDA
Industrial ARea, Distt. Ghaziabad, U.P.
- The Company has been promoted by S/Shri Purshottam Bhageria,
Madhusudhan Bhageria and Madhav Bhageria.
1992 - The Company has entered into a technical collaboration agreement
on 9th September, with Reifenhauser GmbH & Co., Maschinenfabrik,
Germany.
1993 - The Company Public Issue of 18,00,000 No. of Equity shares of Rs.
10/- each for cash at par aggregating Rs. 180 lacs.
1995 - The Company set up a Wind Power Project at Tamilnadu which was
successfully commissioned in March.
- The Company issued 35,00,000 No. of Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each
at a premium of Rs.35/- per Share Financial Institutions, Mutual
Funds and high networth investors.
1996-99 NO NEWS
2000 - The Company subject to necessary approvals, to issue 15,00,000
No. of equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at par by way of
preferential issue to the promoters of the company and their
relatives as issue part of promoters contribution in the firal
fixation/restructuring package proposed by IDBI.

-Board approves expansion of the POY Spinning capacity
2004
-Filatex Ltd has informed that the BoD of the company in their meeting held today (January 6, 2004) have approved the issue of 15,00,000 7.5% Cumulative Convertible Preference Shares of Rs. 25/- each to the promoters of the company including their associate companies. The said Cumulative Convertible Preference Shares shall be convertible into equity shares
