GSPC Gas Company Limited which excels in operational efficiencies and Gujarat Gas Company Limited, a pioneer in business brings 25 years of excellence in gas distribution business practices have now become one. Together, they now command unparalleled resources, expertise and execution skills.

The new amalgamated entity, Gujarat Gas Limited (formerly known as GSPC Distribution Networks Limited), has emerged as India's largest city gas distribution player with presence spread across 19 Districts in the State of Gujarat and Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Thane GA which includes Palghar district of Maharashtra. The new entity has India's largest customer base in major user segments.

The new amalgamated entity Gujarat Gas Limited is committed to reach out to every possible natural gas user in its expanded geographical area. The size and scale of the combined entity gives it the ability to achieve efficiencies and effectively manage the transformational changes in the sector. This major gain in productivity would benefit all the key stakeholders, i.e. Customers and Shareholders.

A network of 15000 km-long gas pipeline and 235 CNG stations constituting 23%* of all CNG stations in the country. Provides 6.2 MMSCMD of Natural Gas to 38%* of all domestic customers (10,27,957), 53%* of all Commercial customers and 47%* of all Industrial customers in India.

2015 -Gujarat Gas has changed its name from 'GSPC Distribution Networks Ltd.' to 'Gujarat Gas Ltd.' 2016 -Gujarat Gas gets nod from Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) for gas distribution. 2017 - Gujarat Gas enters into MoU with Petronet LNG. 2019 -The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 2/-.

2024
-Gujarat Gas Limited has invited Expression of Interest (EoI) from Ceramic Customers located in its Authorised areas in the Districts of Morbi & Surendranagar for purchase of Natural Gas. 
-GGL has approved Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation

2025
-Gujarat Gas Limited & Waree Energy collaborates for Sustainable Energy Solutions and reduce the Carbon Footprint.
-Gujarat Gas Limited convened as per the directions of Hon'ble MCA for approving the Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement.
