    We are an infrastructure investment trust ("InvIT") established to own inter-state power transmission assets in India. IndiGrid was established on October 21, 2016 by our Sponsor, Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Limited, and is registered with SEBI pursuant to the InvIT Regulations. Our Sponsor is one of the leading independent power transmission companies operating in the private sector, with extensive experience in bidding, designing, financing, constructing and maintaining power transmission projects across India  2017 -IndiGrid, India's first Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) in the power sector has said that its unitholders voted for the acquisition of RAPP Transmission Company Limited (RTCL), Purulia and Kharagpur Transmission Company Limited (PKTCL) and Maheshwaram Transmission Limited (MTL) from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Limited (Sponsor). The applicable SEBI regulations on InvITs require the resolution to be approved by a majority of unitholders excluding the Sponsor. The resolution for the acquisition was unanimously approved by all the participating unitholders. Commenting on the results of the EGM, Mr. Pratik Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of IndiGrid, said, "This is an overwhelming response from the unitholders for the first set of acquisitions by IndiGrid. We are humbled with the outcome and will continue to pursue value accretive acquisitions in line with our vision. 2019 -India Grid Trust said on Thursday that Electron IM PTE Ltd (Electron) has acquired 40.01 per cent stake in Sterlite Investment Managers Ltd (SIML) in second tranche. -Infrastructure investment trust, India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) said that, "it has closed the acquisition of two power transmission assets, NRSS XXIX Transmission Limited ("NTL") and Odisha Generation Phase II Transmission Limited ("OGPTL"), from Sterlite Power for an enterprise value of Rs 5,025 crores, 2020 -India Grid Trust has informed the Exchange regarding 'merger of Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Limited with Sterlite Power Transmission Limited.'.Pursuant to Regulation 23 of SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 and other applicable laws and regulations, this is to update that we have received letter from Sterlite Power Transmission Limited to inform that, Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Limited (SPGVL), Sponsor of India Grid Trust (IndiGrid) is merged with Sterlite Power Transmission Limited (SPTL), holding company of SPGVL vide order issued by National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The effective date of merger is November 15, 2020. Accordingly, SPTL has become one of the Sponsor of IndiGrid w.e.f. November 15, 2020.

    2022 
    -India Grid Trust has Completed Of Acquisition Of 'Raichur Sholapur Transmission Company Private Limited. 

    2023 
    -India Grid Trust has Completed Of Acquisition Of Virescent Infrastructure Investment Manager Private Limited.

    2025
    -Company name has changed to IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust from India Grid Trust.
