YEAR EVENTS 1933 - The Company was incorporated in 1933 at Mumbai. The Company carries on the business of investment and leasing. 1987 - Industrial Investment Trust Corporate Services, Ltd. became a subsidiary of the Company. - 99,985 bonus shares issued in prop. 1:1. 1988 - IIT Capital Services, Ltd. was promoted as a subsidiary of the Company. This subsidiary would undertake leasing, hire-purchase and other finance related activities. - 15 forfeited equity shares reissued to employees. Another 15 shares were issued to employees to make the subscribed capital Rs 200,00,000. 1991 - 1,00,000 bonus shares issued in the prop. 1:2. 1992 - The Company was registered with SEBI as category 1 Merchant Banker. The Company promoted jointly with a team of professionals a new company called IIT Investment Trust Pvt. Ltd., to provide consultancy/advisory services, based on its research capabilities, to a broad spectrum of capital market participants. The Company proposed to subdivide the existing Rs 100 equity share into Rs 10 equity share. 1993 - The Company established itself in the field of lease/hire purchase business, bill discounting and short term money market. - The Company acts as Debenture Trustees to Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises, Ltd., Hindustan Ferodo Ltd., The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, Star Industrial & Textile Enterprises Ltd., and J.K. Cotton Spinning & Weaving Mills Co., Ltd. - 2,00,000 bonus shares issued in prop. 2:3. 1995 - Equity shares of Rs 100 each subdivided into shares of Rs 10 each. 1996 - 50,00,000 bonus shares issued in proportion 1:1. 2008 -Industrial Investment Trust Ltd has appointed Mr. Bipin Agarwal and Mr. Swaran Singh as Additional Directors. - Industrial Investment Trust Ltd has appointed Mr. R K Mittal as an Additional Director on the Board of the Company. 2009 -Mr. R S Loona has been appointed as an Additional Director of the Company. -Industrial Investment Trust Ltd has recommended 10% dividend i.e. Re 1 per share. 2010 -Company has incorporated a Wholly Owned Subsidiary namely IIT Media and Entertainment Pvt.
