| The company was incorporated as a Private Limited company on 17th
Novemeber, 1981 and it became a Public Limited company on 29th January,
1982. The company was engaged in the business as importers of synthetic
and wool wastes. During 1985-86, the company acquired an existing
agro-products industrial complex at Dewas near Indore in Madhya
Pradesh. This complex comprised facilities for the manufacture of
integrated agro-products viz. Vegetable Oil refinery, hydrogenation
plant and flour mill. Subsequently, a Vanaspati (vegetable ghee) plant
with an installed capacity of 22,500 tonnes per annum was established
at Mandideep near Bhopal. The vanaspati products are marketed under the
trade name of `TARUN'.
The company has changed its name in sept. 1995 to " Oswal Chemicals &
Fertilisers Limited".
2002
-Fire breaks out in a sulphur godown of the company in Paradip.
2003
-Shifts the Investor service cell to 7th floor Anthriksh Bhawan, 22, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi - 1.
-Gets Corporate Debt Restructuring's approval for its restructuring package.
-Orissa government orders institution of Criminal proceedings against the company over pollution.
2005
-Kribhco picks up Oswal's urea unit for Rs 1,900cr
2007
-Registered Office of the Company has been shifted To Near Jain Colony, Vijya Inder Nagar, Daba Road, Ludhiana-141003
2011
-Company has changed its name from Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. to Oswal Green Tech Ltd.
2014
-Mr.Abhey kumar Oswal has been appointed as Whole-Time Director of the Company w.e.f. April 01, 2014.
