| The Company was promoted on January 8, 1993 with the main
object of manufacturing/producing/processing all kinds of
polymers, polymeric compounds required as source materials
for cables of all types including power cables, XLPE cables
and telecommunication cables. The Company obtained
certificate of commencement of business on February 5, 1993.
The Company has filed relevant Industrial Entrepreneurs
Memorandum and obtained acknowledgement from Department of
Industrial Development vide its letter 1391/SIA/IMO/93 dated
May 13, 1993.
The project is in an advanced stage of implementation,
status of which has been detailed under "Implementation
Schedule". The Company has incurred an expenditure to the
extent of As. 1927.78 lacs towards the project as on
30.6.95.
MAIN OBJECTS
The main objects as set out in the Memorandum of Association
of the company are :
1) To carry on all or any of the business as manufacturer,
producer, processor, purchaser, seller, importer, exporter,
mixer, refiner, packet, stockist, distributor, dealer,
extractor, manipulator, formulator, Commission Agent, Sales
& Marketing Representative and Organiser, of all types of
Polymers, Polymic Compounds and Copolymers required as
source materials for cables of all types including for power
cables XLPE cables and Telecommunications Cables, and all
kinds of source materials, ingredients derivates and
compounds thereof, and any or all kind of products of which
any of the foregoing constitute an ingredient or in the
production of which any of the foregoing is used and to
utilise and waste and by products arising out of any of the
foregoing products.
2. To carry on the business of consultants and or Advisors
in connection with any of the matters referred to herein
above.
