    History of Company

    The company was incorporated on 31st July, 1987 under the Act and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on 16th March, 1988.

    The company has set up a textile division of draw-texturising,twisting & dyeing facilities. It is a 100% EOU. The company manufactures polyester filament yarn. The company is in technical collaboration with EMS Inventa, A. G. Switzerland.

    The company has been promoted as a joint venture project by Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (Herein after referred to as AIDC & Bombay Silk Mills Ltd (herein referred as BOSIMI). BOSIMI was incorporated in 1945 and was taken over in 1981 by Mr. H. B. Vyas a BCom graduate and a business-man engaged in trading of textiles for more than 20 years.

    The company manufactures synthetic yarn and synthetic fabrics sarees.

    The company has recently commenced production of POY.

    2010

    - Prag Bosimi Synthetics Ltd has appointed Shri Nandkumar G. Vedak as an Additional Director of the Company w.e.f. July 15, 2010.

    2011

    -The company has incorporated 3 Wholly Owned Subsidiary Companies:PRAG JYOTI TEXTILE PARK PRIVATE LIMITED , PRAG BOSIMI TEXURISING PRIVATE LIMITED , PRAG BOSIMI PACKAGING PRIVATE LIMITED.

    2012

    - Restart of plant at Guwahati site.

    2014

    -Mr. Rohit Doshi are appointed as Additional Director of the Company. -Mr. Rajesh Shetty is appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company.
