    HISTORY AND PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY Madhyadesh Papers Ltd (MPL), incorporated as Public Limited Company on 20th April 1993 with ROC, Maharashtra at Bombay and the Certificate of Commencement of Business was obtained on 7.10.1993. The Company is promoted by Shri Ramgopal Maheshwari, Prakash Maheshwari, Vinod Maheshwari, Nimish Maheshwari, Sameer Maheshwari and their family members, owners of the well-established NavaBharat Group of Newspapers, being published in Central India. Now, the Company proposes to set up a new plant for the manufacture of Newsprint with an installed capacity of 15,180 tpa (46 tpd) at Villa Manegoon, Tehsil Saoner, District Nagpur, Maharashtra. 2011 -Company has changed its name from Madhya Desh Papers Ltd. to Saffron Industries Ltd.
