| Sriman Organic Chemical Industries Ltd (SOCIL) was incorporated on October 11, 1990 as a private limited company under the Act. It was converted into a public limited company on March 30, 1992.
The main objects of the Company are set out in the Memorandum of Association and are re-produced elsewhere in this Prospectus.
The immediate object of the Company is to set up a project for the manufacture of 8400 TPA of MCB, 4000 TPA of PNCB and 2000 TPA of ONCB.
The Company has been promoted by Shri Ashok G. Rajani along with Shri Ghanshyamdas Rajani and Shri Prakash M. Jaisingh.
The other ventures of the promoters and brief details of the same are as follows:
i) Sriman Petrochemicals Ltd (SPL)
SPL (earlier called Sriman Chemical Industries) is engaged in the
manufacture of dyes & dye intermediates
ii) Sriman Chemical Corporation (SCC)
SCC is engaged in the marketing of basic Organic chemicals like
PNCB, ONCB, Acetic Anhydride, ONT, PNT, Aniline etc.
iii) Vidhata Chemicals Pvt.Ltd (VCPL)
VCPL is a manufacturer of dye intermediates.

-Company has changed its name from Sriman Organic Chemical Industries Ltd. to Seya Industries Ltd.
