    The Company was incorporated on 13/05/1988 & has been promoted by Tamilnadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited Madras & Telecommunication Consultants India Limited (TCIL), New Delhi. The Company undertook to set up a project for the manufacture of Polyethylene Insulated Jelly-filled telecommunication cables (PIJFT) with Technical knowhow from the Essex Group Inc of the USA. 2001 -Shri B L Arora has taken over as Managing Director of the Company 2002 -S K Verma appointed as Director of Tamilnadu Telecommunications. -Tamilnadu Telecommunications Ltd has informed that Mr S K Tandon Chairman & Managing Director, Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd has been appointed as Director on the Board of the Company. -Tamilnadu Telecommunications Ltd has informed BSE that Shri Arun Ramanathan IAS, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamilnadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited has been appointed as Director and Chairman on the Board of Tamilnadu Telecommunication Limited in place of Shri M Madhavan Nambiar, IAS who has relinguised the office and ceased to be Director, consequent to his inter departmental transfer. 2003 -Shri Manas Sengupta has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Company 2005 -Registered Office of the Company has changed from Gee Gee Complex, 3rd Floor, 42, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002 to No.16, First Floor, Aziz Mulk 3rd Street, (Near IDBI Bank), Thousand Lights, Chennai - 600006 2007 -Tamilnadu Telecommunication Ltd has appointed Mr. K. Sainathan as the Company Secretary of the Company with effect from 16th January 2007.
