| The Company was incorporated on 25th November 1985 as a Public Limited Company in the State of Maharashtra and received the Certificate of Commencement of business on 6.12.1985.
The Company has been promoted by a group of Professionals and Industrialists having managerial experience and economic resources. The main objects of the company are to carry on the business as an investment company and to Finance the industrial Enterprises and to provide venture capital, seed Capital, loan capital and to participate in equity preference Share Capital or to give guarantee on behalf of the Company in the matter and to promote companies engaged in industrial and trading business. The company also undertakes the business of hire, hire purchase, deferred payments leasing and to finance and, assist in financing lease operations of each and every kind including movable and immovable properties.
During 1994 the company's name was changed to WEIZMANN LIMITED, from WEIZMANN INDUSTRIES LIMITED.
2002-Weizmann Ltd has informed the Exchange Mr. N. N. Pai has resigned as the Chairman & Director of the company and Dr. P D Ojha - Director has been appointed as Chairman of the Company at the same meeting held on November 30, 2002.
