    Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd. formerly known as Ansal Housing Finance & Leasing Ltd. was incorporated as a public limited company on 22nd October, 1983. The company made a public issue in December 1985. The company was promoted by Sushil Ansal, Gopal Ansal and Deepak Ansal and Ansal properties & Industries (P) Ltd. as well as their associates. The name of the company was changed to Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd. w.e.f 31st May, 1990. The company is at present mainly engaged in the construction of High Rise Buildings, Residential complexes, Farm Houses, Real Estate Development and Construction etc. 2006 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd is launching its project at Majestic City of Indore namely "ANSAL TOWN INDORE" on November 12, 2006. 2007 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has informed that the Director, Town & Country Planning, Chandigarh, Haryana has issued licence for development of approx. 100 acre of Residential Project of the Company at Sector - 19, Rewari (Haryana). -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has informed that the Company on September 15, 2007 has launched a new Project named "Ansals Woodbury Apartments" at Zirakpur (Punjab). 2008 -Company has been awarded by Lucknow Development Authority a contract of Rs 48.5 crores for construction of 2352 houses for economically weaker section of the society under "Manyavar Kanshi Ram Ji Nagar Awas Yojna" -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd launched a new Project named "Ansals Elegance", at Aavantika Extn. Ghaziabad (UP). -Ansal Housing - Launching of New Project "Ansal Town", Muzaffarnagar. 2009 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd launched a new Group Housing Project named "Ansal Grace", at Jammu (J&K). -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd launched a new Township Project named "Ansal Town", at Meerut -Ansal Housing - Launches Thai style villas in Shahpur -Ansal Housing performs Bhoomipujan of "Ansals Herman City, Kurukshetra, Haryana" 2010 -Company launched a new Township Project named "Ansal Town", at Yamunanagar / Jagadhari. 2011 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has recommended divided @ 8% (Rs. 0.80 per equity share) 2012 -Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd has recommended dividend @ 10% (Rs. 1.00 per equity share) 2013 -The Company has recommend dividend @ 8% (Rs. 0.80 per equity share) for payment to the Shareholders for the Financial Year 2012-2013 -The Company have recommended/approved issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 2:1 -Mr. Maharaj Krishen Trisal has been inducted as Additional Director on the Board of the company 2014 -The Company have decided to recommend dividend @ 8% (Rs. 0.80 per equity share) for payment to the Shareholders for the Financial Year 2013-2014 2018 -Company name has changed to Ansal Housing Ltd. from Ansal Housing & Construction Ltd..
