The Company was originally incorporated as "Bapi Construction Electrical Engineering Private Limited" at Kolkata, as a Private Limited Company under the provision of Companies Act, 1956 vide Certificate of Incorporation dated December 08, 1995 bearing Corporate Identification Number U51109WB1995PTC075801 issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal. Subsequently, the name of the Company was changed to BCPL Railway Infrastructure Private Limited" vide special resolution passed by the shareholders of the Company in their meeting held on June 30, 2008 and fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon change of name was issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on July 03, 2008. the Company was then converted into a public limited Company pursuant to special resolution passed by the members at their meeting held on July 31, 2008 and the name of the Company was changed to "BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited" vide a Fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated August 05, 2008, issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
