| YEAR EVENTS
1979 - Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) Ltd. was Incorporated in May
as a private limited company to provide underwater engineering,
diving services and other offshore oil-field services. The
Company was promoted by Rear Admiral Kirpal Singh and Shavax A.
Lal. The Company became a full fledged public limited Company on
31st May, 1994.
- The Company is engaged in the activities of diving services,
Marine operations, offshore drilling, Geophysical and
Geotechnical Surveys and Radio positioning services, ship repair
service and Turnkey projects.
- The Company had technical collaboration with Global Marine
Drilling Services of USA for Offshore drilling, Oceaneering
International AG of Switzerland for diving and underwater
engineering, Geodetic and Construction Survey Ltd., of
Switzerland for the latest technology in survey and positioning
services and TL Geotechnics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. for
geotechnical surveys. The Company undertook several turnkey
projects for carrying out specialised repairs of offshore rigs.
1994 - During September/October, the Company offered 14,00,000 No. of
equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium of Rs 30 per
share to public. (All were accepted).
1995 - During February, the Company entered into an agreement with
Sembawang Maritime Ltd. to set up a joint venture company to
provide marine transportation and offshore logistic services.
2004
-Dolphin Offshore bags order from Iranian Oil & Engg
-Dolphin Offshore signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NaftoGaz,
2006
-Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Ltd has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 31, 2006, to consider the issue of Bonus Shares.
-Dolphin Offshore signs MOU with IMPaC Offshore, Germany to set up JVC in India
2007
- Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Ltd has informed that Societa Cooperativa Nazionale Sommozzaton (CNS) has awarded a Contract for saturation diving work in China.
-The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 3:5.
2008
- Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Ltd has got a contract for providing diving services in Malaysia / South East Asia on DI / DSV by M/s Offshore Subsea Works BDN BHD, Malaysia for period of 2 months w.e.f. July 04, 2008.
2009
-Dolphin Offshore Enterprises has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 2:5
2010
-Dolphin Offshore recommended 15% dividend
2011
-Shipping Corporation of India Ltd has appointed Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) Ltd as its subcontractor for providing diving services on board ONGC's two Multi Support Vessels
-Dolphin Offshore has recommended 15% dividend
2012
-Dolphin Offshore Enterprises has received a Notification of Award of Contract for OGIP Power to ESP Project from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd
-Vice Admiral Harisimran Singh Malhi has been appointed as an Additional Director and also Whole Time Director designated as Executive Director (Special Projects) of the Company.
2013
-Board of Directors approved the Appointment of Mr. Sabyasachi Hajara as an Additional Director of the Company.
2014
-Mr. Sabyasachi Hajara has been appointed has as a Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company.
2015
-Dolphin Offshore Ent - Construction of New Vessels Wholly Owned Subsidiary Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (Mauritius) Private Ltd.
-Dolphin Offshore arm inks pact with Paxocean for new vessels.
2016
-The Company has bagged contract worth USD 3.99 million from ONGC for underwater structural repair of HC platform in Heera Field.
