| Our Company was originally incorporated as Insecticides (India) Private
Limited vide Certificate of Incorporation No. 55-83909 of 1996 dated 18.12.1996
under the Companies Act, 1956 with the Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi &
Haryana with Registered address 208, Anupam Bhawan, Azadpur Commercial
Complex, Delhi-33. Our Company was converted into Public Limited Company
after passing the necessary special resolution on 29.10.2001 and consequent to
this change it got the fresh certificate of incorporation on 02.11.2001 from Registrar
of Companies NCT of Delhi & Haryana. The registered office of our company was
changed from 208, Anupam Bhawan, Azadpur Commercial Complex, Delhi-33 to
401-402, Lusa Tower, Azadpur Commercial Complex, Azadpur, Delhi-33 with effect
from 24th October, 2001.
Our Company was not carrying out any business from December 1996 till October
2001.The commercial production started in the month of March 2002 at our
Chopanki unit in Rajasthan with an installed capacity of 29.40 Lacs litres of EC,
and 2400 MTs of Granules. Our Company has two units one in Chopanki Rajasthan
and another in Samba J&K. Unit at Samba was commissioned in 2004. The current
installed capacity of our company is 60 Lacs litres of EC, 2900MTs of Granules,
10500 MT of WDP. Our business primarily comprises of manufacturing of pesticides,
weedicides, herbicides & allied products.
Both the manufacturing units and corporate office are ISO 9001:2001 certified in
respect of manufacturing formulation and marketing of agrochemicals and household
pesticides. Our Manufacturing units have also received ISO 14001:2004 certification for
the Environment Management System.
HISTORY AND MAJOR EVENTS
The year wise steps in our corporate progress and growth were:
Year 1996 Incorporation of our company as private limited company
Year 2001 Converted into public limited company
Year 2002 Commissioned Formulation plant at Chopanki, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan for
manufacturing wide range of innovative end to end solutions in the areas
of Agrochemicals.
Year 2003 Our Company acquired all the brands of Montari Industries Ltd
Year 2004 Our Company commissioned another Formulation plant at Samba in the
state of Jammu & Kashmir.
Year 2005 Our Company set up an R&D Laboratory at Chopanki and was granted ISO
9001-2000 Certification.
Year 2006 Our Company acquired the exclusive right to sell the Thimet brand in India
from American Vanguard Corporation, USA. Obtained ISO 14001-2004
Certification for environmental protection.
2007
-Insecticides India Ltd has appointed Mr. Navneet Goel as an additional director in the Board Meeting w.e.f. July 26, 2007.
2008
-Insecticides India Ltd has informed that Mr. Hari Chand Aggarwal, Director of the Company has been changed designation from Directorship to Whole-time Director w.e.f. October 01, 2007 and he will be executive director.
2009
-"Insecticide (India) Limited gets new trading codes as "INSECTCID" on BSE & as "INSECTICID" on NSE".
2010
-Trial Run (Production) have been successfully done in the newly establish unit at Udhampur (J&K)
2011
-Company has entered into an agreement to acquire the brand viz. 'MONOCIL' with M/s. NOCIL Ltd (Formally Known as National Organic Chemical Industries Ltd.)
-Company has entered into commencement of Commercial Operations in its establish newly plant at CH-21, GIDC Industrial Estate, Dahej, Dist. Bharuch - 392130 (Gujarat)
-Insecticides (India) Limited has entered into an agreement with National Research Development Corporation
2012
-Company has entered in to an agreement with M/s. Nissan Chemical Industries Ltd. (Japan) for marketing of their Product (HAKAMA) in India and also entered in technical collaboration with US-based M/s. American Vanguard Corporation (AMVAC) regarding manufacturing and marketing of their product (NUVAN) in India
- Company (IIL) has entered in to joint venture (JV) with M/s. Otsuka AgriTechno Co. Ltd (OAT)
2013
-Insecticides (India) Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.00/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each (i.e. 30%)
-Insecticides (India) Ltd has informed that Mrs. Nikunj Aggarwal has been appointed as a Whole-time Director
2014
-Insecticides (India) launches its first Bio Product, Mycoraja
-Insecticides (India) Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.00/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each (i.e.30%)
2015
-The Company has allotted the Bonus Shares to its shareholders in the Ratio of 1:2.
2016
-Insecticides (India) inks pact with Hyderabad Chemical.
-Pesticides manufacturer Insecticides (India) Ltd has signed a pact with US-based company.
2020
-Insecticides India gets green nod for Rs 40 cr pesticide unit in Gujarat.
2021
-Launched a new patented product Hachiman
2022 -Launched 2 new products in collaboration with Nissan, Japan Izuki & Shinwa and
launched first time made in india product -The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:2.
2023 -Launched Mission- make in india and other 6 products
2024 -IIL Partners with BioPrime to introduce biological Product `Relieve' in India. -IIL Foundation collaborates with General Aeronautics to Bring Drone Spray Technology Training to Farmers.
2025 -Insecticides (India) Limited Partners with Corteva Agriscience to Launch "SPARCLE" - ARevolutionary Insecticide for Paddy Farmers. -Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL) Launched Altair in Collaboration with Nissanchemical Corporation, Japan : Latest technology Pre-Emergent Herbicide for Paddy.
