From 10th May, 1967, the promoters of the company were carrying on the business of manufacturing electrical fuses and cut-outs in partnership firm under the name and style of M/s. Rohit & Co.
Rohit & Company discontinued its operations from 24.11.1992 and was converted into a Company Limited by shares under the name and style of Rohit & Company (Switchgears) Ltd., on 14.12.1992 as per provisions of part IX of Companies Act, 1956. On such registration all the assets, movable and immovable of Rohit & Company were vested Rohit & Company (Switchgears) Ltd., as per provision of Section 575 of the Companies Act, 1956.
In consideration for the above 5,30,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each at par aggregating to Rs.53 lacs were allotted to the partners of the erstwhile Rohit & Company and the balance amount of Rs.1.60 lacs were adjusted against the liabilities of Rohit & Company.
The name of Rohit & Company (Switchgears) Ltd. was subsequently changed to INTEGRA SWITCHGEAR LTD. on 8th February 1993. The Company, obtained the certificate of commencement of business on 6th January 1993. After the incorporation of INtegra Switchgear Ltd., the company has discountinued its earlier activities of manufacturing electrical fuses and cut outs and has been concentrating on setting up a project for manufacture of Electrical Circuit Breakers.
The company has been promoted by Shri Jamnadas H. Vora, Shri Deepak J. Vora and Shri Pankaj J. Vora.

The Company is setting up a project for manufacturing circuit breakers including miniature circuit breakers (MCS), earth leakage miniature circuit breakers (ELMCBs), Motor starters (MS), Distribution Boards (DBs), Auxiliary switches and Isolators.
