| The Company was originally incorporated in Lucknow as InterGlobe Aviation Private Limited, a private limited company, under the Companies Act, 1956 on January 13, 2004 with the Registrar of Companies, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal at Kanpur. Pursuant to a special resolution of the shareholders of the Company on June 30, 2006, the Company was converted into a public company and the name of the Company was changed to "InterGlobe Aviation Limited" subsequent to which, a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, National Capital Territory of Delhi and Haryana on August 11, 2006. the registered office was changed from the state of Uttar Pradesh to the National Capital Territory of Delhi on September 6, 2004 after the alteration was confirmed by the Company Law Board vide order dated September 1, 2004. the registered office was further changed within the National Capital Territory of Delhi from 66, Janpath, New Delhi - 110 001, India to Central Wing, Ground Floor, Thapar House, 124, Janpath, New Delhi - 110 001,India on October 1, 2006.
