1981 - The Company was originally incorporated at Mumbai, as a Private Limited Company on 12th March, as `Mid-Day Publications Private Limited' and obtained a certificate of change of name on 1st July 1989 upon its change of status to ab deemed Public Limited Company. The Company was renamed as `Mid-Day Multimedia Limited' and was converted into a Public Limited Company on 7th July 2000.

2003

-Bennett, Coleman & Co, publishers of the Times of India, the K K Birla-owned Hindustan Times, the Pune-based Sakaal group and another leading regional newspaper company are understood to have bid for a majority stake in Mid-Day Multimedia, the Mid-Day group's holding company for newspapers, radio channels and outdoor media.

2006

- Mid-day Multimedia Ltd has informed that Mr Shekhar Gupta, Director (Nominee of Indian Express) has resigned from the board of the Company.

2009

- Mid-day Multimedia Ltd has appointed Mr. I. Venkat as an Additional Director on the board of the Company.

2010

- Mid-day Multimedia Ltd has appointed Mr. Dilip Cherian as an Additional Director on the board of the Company.

2011

-Company has changed its name from Mid-Day Multimedia Ltd. to Next Mediaworks Ltd.

2012

- Mr. Ismail Dabhoya has been appointed as the New Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

2013

-Mr. Manoj Gujaran has been appointed as a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company.

2014
