    The company was incorporated on 24th November, 1992 for setting up of seed processing complex and to enter into sun flower seed multipication programme. The company is in the stage of setting up of project as stated above and has received certificate of commencement of business on 17th Dec. 1992. Omega Ag-seeds (Punjab)limited is a joint venture of Punjab Agro Industries corporation Limited (PAIC) and Omega Ag-seeds (India) Limited (OASIL).The company is promoted in 1989 by S B Vaishampayan, Dr. H M Rao and Mr. Bharat Parekh with OASIL as the copromoter.Dr. H M Rao was later substituted by B S Doshi and Bharat Parekh. 2012 --Registered Office of the Company has been shifted 6-3-1099/1/2/3, Flat No. 203, Bhavya's Varun Sargam Villa, Somajiguda, Rajbhavan Road, Hyderabad - 500 082. 2013 - The Board considered and approved acquisition of balance 75% stake (25% stake having been acquired in 2011) in Gayatri Sea Foods and Feeds Private Limited so as to make it a wholly owned subsidiary of Omega Ag Seeds Punjab Ltd.
