| AVANTI FINANCE LIMITED (AFL) was originally incorporated with Registrar of Companies at Gwalior, in the state of Madhya Pradesh on 19.4.1985 in the name of Patel Leasing and Finance Private Limited. The name of the company was changed to Avanti Finance Limited on 23.06.92 and on the same day it was converted in to Public Limited Company. The company was promoted by Shri A.C. Patel, an Industrialist based at Indore and by Shri V.V. Hirde. The company was initially engaged in Fund base activities, like investment in the equity shares of listed and well known public limited companies. Recently company has diversified in short term money market operations at large scale like inter corporate deposits, short term and unsecured advances and recorded a tremendous growth in the above areas.
