    History of Company

    The company history sections lists out major chronological events that happened to the company.
    The Company was incorporated as Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Private Limited on June 5, 2002 with a certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad. Subsequently, the Company was converted from a private limited company to a public limited company, pursuant to a special resolution passed by the Shareholders at the EGM held on March 22, 2021 and the name of the Company was changed to Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited and accordingly, on March 26, 2021, a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent on change of name was granted by the RoC. The Company had historically, in various public documents such as annual reports and secretarial filings, named Dr. S. Surendranath Reddy, S. Geeta Reddy, Sunil Chandra Kondapally, Sura Suprita Reddy and B. Vishnu Priya as the promoters. Pursuant to a resolution of the Board in its meeting held on May 27, 2021, it was resolved that Dr. S. Surendranath Reddy will be the Promoter of the Company.

    - Acquisition of majority shareholding in "Medinova Diagnostic Services Limited".

    - Investment by Karakoram Limited and Kedaara Capital Alternative Investment Fund - Kedaara Capital AIF 1.

    2021
    - First independent diagnostic centre in the State of Telangana to get Revolution ACT 50 slice CT from Wipro GE Healthcare Private Limited.
    -Vijaya Diagnostic Centre has won the 'Company of the Year' award under healthcare category at the Dare2Dream Awards 2021, organized by TV9 Network and SAP India.
    -Vijaya Diagnostic Centre awarded as the " India's Greatest Brands 2020-21".

    -Vijaya Diagnostic Centre has been recognized for Service Excellence in Integrated Diagnostics Care at Times Health Excellence Awards 2023.
    -Vijaya Diagnostic Centre received the certificate of recognition as one of the Best Healthcare Brands - 2023 by the Economic Times.
    -Vijaya Diagnostic Centre was awarded for excellence in comprehensive diagnostic care at the TV9 Bangla Suswasto Health Conclave and Excellence Awards.
