| YEAR EVENTS
1990 - The company was incorporated on the 14th May, as Daga Plantations Limited
and certificate of commencement of business obtained on 21st June. The name of
the company was changed to "NORBEN TEA & EXPORTS LTD" with effect from
29th April 1994.
- The company has already completed plantation in 121.46 ha of land out of targetted
area of 400 ha in the traditional tea growing area of Jalpaiguri a District fo West Bengal
under the guidelines issued by Govt of West Bengal.Apart from the tea fields, the company
has commenced establishment of new factory to manufacture tea.
- The company is at present engaged in the process of expanding the planted area by
aquisition, development and planting of balance targetted land at the company's garden
in Jalpaiguri District.It has already established own nursery to cater the needs of the estate.
The company is also in the process of setting up a tea processing factory .
1995 - The Company's newly designed factory using the latest technology, state-of-the-art CTC
Processing Machines and energy efficient Vibro Fluid Bed Driers, with the aim of producing
the highest quality tea at the lowest possible cost, has an edge over others in the present
competitive market.
2000
-The Company has signed an agreement with CDSL, NSDL and S.K. Computers for dematerialisation.
2008
-The company has designated E-mail ID for Investors Complaints: investorcare@norbentea.com
2014
-Ms. Sweta Patodia has been appointed as a Non- Executive Additional Director of the company.
