Paramount Communications Ltd. (PCL) was setup in 1978 as a partnership concern under the name and style of Paramount Cable Corporation. Subsequently, the firm was recognised as a Joint Stock Company with the meaning of Section 566 of the Companies Act, 1956 vide Memorandum and Articles of Association entered on 16th June, 1994 between the partners and was registered as a public limited company under the Part IX of the Companies Act 1956 w.e.f. September 5, 1994. Sh. Shyam Sunder Aggarwal, Sh. Sanjay Aggarwal and Sh. Sandeep Aggarwal were appointed as first directors of the Company.
